I don’t fit in a box.  I’m a visionary, a curator of joy and an arbiter of style. My artistry is unique. I host, I cook, I make cocktails, and I design spaces for entertainment. 

My mission is to create unforgettable moments in people’s lives.  By igniting all five senses plus a dash of my signature sass,  I transform the ordinary into bespoke. An experience where people can immerse themselves into elevated cuisine, craft cocktails, design, leisure and a touch of fantasy.  

Whether you are a party planner or host who wants to wow your guests, a restaurateur or hotelier who needs to re-energize your venue, or the producer of an iconic event who needs to make a statement with one of my signature pop-ups – I am here to remind you that life is better with my recipe of Authentic Ingredients, a blend of Love & Spice... and one must never forget a Pinch of Salt.

Bio.

Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Sami developed a love for the arts at an early age fueled by his sophisticated taste and insatiable curiosity. He earned a Bachelor degree in Fashion Design and Art History from the Savannah College of Art and Design, as well as a Grande Diplome in Classic Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management from the International Culinary Center in New York City. There, he trained among award-winning master chefs, including Andre Soltner, Jacques Pepin and Jacques Torres. He refined his culinary skills working in the Miami kitchens of chefs like Douglas Rodriguez and Maria Frumkin. Then became a member of the creative team of Touch Catering in Miami Beach, lead by Chef Sean Brasel from Meat Market where he produced and designed numerous celebrity weddings and renowned events.

In 2008, he founded his first event design and catering company, Sami & Co. His outstanding work landed him a Managing Director role on the multimillion-dollar Sea Fair Mega Yacht where he created unique restaurants, bars, coffee shops and guest experiences throughout the yacht’s 250,000 square feet. Ultimately, the concept of his first business grew and evolved into what is now known today as Love & Spice Hospitality Curators, which he runs along a team of passionate hospitality experts.

Today, as Founder and CEO of Love & Spice he is the driving force behind the most exclusive experiences for local socialites, celebrities, and hospitality groups. He approaches this work from the point of view of an artist, a chef, a designer, an event curator, and a gracious host as he brings people together in elegant and welcoming environments with unique ambiance, exquisite cuisine and cocktails, cutting edge aesthetics, exceptional service and meticulous attention to detail.
